Dr. Tamara Wilds Lawson is the Movement, Issue, and Charitable Organizations (MICO) Director at ActBlue, leading the team that supports nonprofits raising funds on the platform.

Prior to joining ActBlue, she spent over a decade in nonprofit leadership as Director of the Posse Foundation’s Washington, DC office and later as Chief Community Impact & Inclusion Officer for Washington Nationals Philanthropies.

Both Tamara’s early presidential campaign political organizing experience and American Studies doctoral work have greatly informed her servant leadership and commitment to social justice issues.
