Grassroots donors gave nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in July 2020, as we head into the height of the 2020 election season and organizing for racial justice and pandemic relief continues. Highlights include:
- July was the third largest month in ActBlue’s history by dollars raised, total contributions, and unique donors.
- July was the largest month ever in terms of the number of campaigns and organizations fundraising on ActBlue.
- More than half a million donors gave for the first time in July.
- As of the end of July, ActBlue’s cycle-to-date total is over $2.5 billion raised from 11.3 million unique donors, with an average contribution size of $33.
- Donors have contributed to more than 19,000 candidates and organizations so far this cycle.
- Contributions and dollars to congressional candidates doubled in July 2020 compared to July 2018.
- The ActBlue Express universe hit 11 million users in July. These donors can give to anyone on ActBlue with a single click.
